Valentine's Day 2018. Celebrating the most important person in your life

Or read the script below:

Valentine’s Day can be a time of great elation, joy and excitement, especially when you have someone to share it with. For others, Valentine’s Day is a reminder that they are, yet again, on their own.

Spending Valentine’s day on your own can be really tough for some people. If you don’t have a special someone to celebrate with this year, if you are feeling lonely and alone on Valentine’s Day, you need some important perspective.

Last year, I shared an article for those without a significant other on Valentine’s Day and how they could mark the day with a person who has been particularly helpful.. You can read it her: “Modernising the way we celebrate Valentine’s Day”

This year, on Valentine’s Day, we can find strength and inner-peace. This is an opportunity to show some self-love, self-care and gratitude to the most important person in your life: YOU

Let’s be kind to yourself. Show yourself a bit of care, compassion and love.

As Valentine’s Day draws closer, mark some time into your calendar on February 14 for you! You might like to get a massage, have a picnic, go to the movies, take a long stroll or bike ride, take a class or celebrate you with another friend ….

Do something that helps you to feel fulfilled, special and cared for. Take a moment to think about what you would like to do for you…

Let’s face it – You are important! You are unique! You are worthy of love! And you are worthy of investing some time and money on.

HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!
